Fast Growing SPS?

Dredging up an old thread but I have a similar but slightly different question.

What is the fastest encrusting sps? I have a very large surface area and I'm looking at covering it. So branching or upward growing corals aren't all that interesting since they would consume resources growing up instead of sideways. Tables or plates are the same issue.

So focusing on encrusting, what's the weed sps?

But green slimer and red planet are branching acros - not encrusting, right?

Can't expect everyone to see your individual inquiry in a list of 20+ posts. I would assume some patience with responses. ;)

That same application of patience can be utilized for most every encrusting monti I've run into, as they all grow at an indiscernibly good clip.

Just keep everything stable and soon enough you'll be wishing they grew slower.

I'm not sure I have anything that grows as fast as my pavona. It's a unique piece, too. I'm happy to box some up and ship some to anyone that's interested, lol.

Pavona wins by my tank, but birdsnests and montis are also fast. I have a tricolor that grows like a weed too, and my Purple Nana is also quick.

I have a Copps Purple porites that encrusts faster than anything I've seen.

Sunset monti, sometimes I fear mine is going to outgrow my tank and start trying to encrust over me and my family...

Cyphastrea grow really fast for me.

+1

Meteor storm and 2 others with Green/orange polyps and Blue/Yellow polyps grow like weeds in my tank.

On the other hand the Light Blue/Pink polyps variation is trying to decide if it is going to merely cling to life or fade away entirely.
