Fat PBT?

So I have had my PBT for about 3 weeks now and has been in DT for 1 week. S/he eats like crazy, and pretty much beats everything that goes into the tank. Still a pretty small guy and he came to me looking good and uniform in size. However I have noticed what looks like his stomach bulging lately. Is he just a fatty or could it be some parasite. Here is the best pick I could get as it is always on the move.

The problem isn't that fat stomach, it's the thin body... you can see his spine. Was that always the case, or has it gotten worse?

Have you witnessed any bowel movements? Anus appear normal, any redness or swelling? Fish does look emaciated, feed well, but do not over feed at this point. If bowel movements do appear normal then I wouldn't be greatly concerned at this point...

I have seen it pass waste a few times but I not home much. He eats nearly 1/3 sheet nori a day. Seems really happy and energetic. He probably was just thin and is putting on weight.

Also just to be clear its diet consists of nori soaked in vitamins and garlic as well as my homemade food that everyone gets and is loaded with algaes and proteins.

Sounds like he just needs to put some weight on. I'd feed more frozen meaty foods and pellets if he'll eat them in addition to the nori.

x2....looks like this fish was neglected with it's feedings prior to your ownership and just needs to be fed....like most tangs they are very active constantly swimming and need to consume alot of calories during the day...
