Hmm.. Thats a totally different cover than what my "anemone Fishes and their Host Sea Anemones" book has. Mine was published by tetra back in 1994. The front cover of mine has a BTA, a hadoni, magnifica and a crispa.. All 4 are whiter than white. They must have change the cover, which would explain why i didnt get much of a response when I posted on the subject before.
oops,, I ust scrolled back up and noticed the "second edition". I must have the first addition (ill try to post a pic if anyone is interested in the first addition)

Hi Rod, I have both the first and second editions and can confirm you have the first edition (the bleached anemones). Interestingly the editing wasn't 100% in the second edition as there are errors in the second edition that weren't in the first edition (for example, same picture of an anemone with captions labelling it as two different species).
the pic also highlights the fact that you cannot use the eye ring as a safe guide to differentiate between species, however gives alot of credence to the dorsal height method, that they use, I think it is at least a useful tool in helping with identification.
