Learn the biggest secret to marine hobby success Feb 13, 2010.
"¢ Hardly anyone talk's about it, but everyone knows about it.
"¢ You can't buy it, but it is an investment.
"¢ It is not glamorous, but the reward is awesome.
"¢ It is no fun, but you'll be thrilled.
"¢ It is up to you, can you handle it?

Every hobbyist who has had long-term success "œget's it" and does "œit", but could do "œit" better.

Come to the SEASL meeting Feb 13. We will be talking about "œit" and how to do "œit" effectively. Everyone who attends will have something to contribute, so be prepared to participate.

And for those who want more, and everyone does, Brad will be presenting a brief demonstration of how to build your own DIY LED lighting, along with some examples of how to use LEDs with your current setup.

See SEASL.ORG for details.

Whatever 'it' is, I know Jim does 'it'.

By the way the meeting is

Feb 13th from 10am-12 noon
At the Weber Branch Library
4444 Weber Road, St Louis, MO‎

Kudos to Pete and Brad for posting the winning guesses to this monthly meeting theme in the SEASL forum. The meeting is THIS Saturday.

Yes, the topic is Maintenance!

Boring you say?

Individuals and businesses pay thousands of dollars a year because they know it has to be done, done regularly, and done right.

While most of us fall in the DIY category, we want to make sure we are getting the most bang for our efforts. After we cover what should be done (you might be surprised) and how frequently, we'll have much to share on how to do it better and faster.

Fear not, there will be a glamorous spot in the meeting. Brad will share what he has learned about and built using LED lighting. He will be presenting a brief demonstration of how to build your own DIY LED lighting, along with some examples of how to use LEDs with your current setup.

The meeting will be from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Weber Rd. Library, 4444 Weber Road, Saint Louis, MO.‏

We are looking forward to seeing everyone!

I just want to go on the record to say "Thanks" to Brad M for an excellent presentation on LEDs.* I am so motivated after seeing what Brad showed us could be done with a little "know how."* The presentation and sharing of information was amazing.* LEDs are in reach for everyone.* :bounce2:Jim
