February 21st Meeting - DIY Food and Live Rock Workshop

We are going to have a to part DIY workshop this Saturday at Pranksters Too in Scottsdale. As you all requested there will be a DIY frozen fish food demo and a DIY Live Rock demo.

First we are going to have a cooking class of sorts, we will be showing you how to make your own homemade frozen fish food using ingredients that can be bought at the grocery store and some fairly common kitchen equipment. There will be samples for everyone.

After that I am going to try to fit in a quick DIY Live Rock Demo similar to the one I did last year. Feel free to ask questions as we go and get up close to see what is happening of reach demo.

And at the end there will be a a raffle for tons of San Fransisco Bay Brand foods. Tickets can be bought there and will be $1 each and $5 for 6 tickets.

Also don't for get to join AZ FRAG as an official member. In order to provide more benefits to the club members we are providing membership dues. More details can be found on the AZ FRAG club info page.

I will have that 40g acrylic sump available asking 50 for it with filter sock and PVC holder, should also have a cpl tanks available, 29 tall, 55 long if there is interest. I'll get pictures up today sometime. Also will take coral trades for these.

no green but I may have a quad/rainbow bta avail, mine split about 3-4 weeks ago and is about 99% healed now(still has 3-4 smaller tentacles on the side it split from) Ill see how he is looking tonight, I think he moved to his own rock too.
 
We will have some Reef Stew and some Reed Mariculture up for the raffle. Everyone is going to have a chance to walk home with a feast for their fish friends this meeting. A big thanks goes out to Bob at Reef Stew for these awesome donations.
 
Is the tubbs BN more of a teal blue than green? if so Ill add that to my list.

The sump I mentioned is now spoken for.

and Thanks Bob for donating to the raffles again, the fish and coral love the Stew!
