As always beautiful Tim, and thanks.....

Is that Eddies Purple Monster next to the Lime in the Sky?

And what is the piece after the endview in the foreground, has some interesting coloration?

thanks for the props guys.
left of the lime would be TrevDogs Purple Elegans. grows flat and fingering. i don't have eddies purple monster, but i do have original one.

doug, which one are you referring to?

that one originated from bill bramucci of northstarcorals.com back in 10/2003. he called it a purple acro but it arrived as brown.

rich (sand dollar) thinks it might be a fiji gemmifera. i bet its colors would intensify under 400w. right now the purple is coming in more and it has red polyps.

we'll see what happens when i swap that 20k bulb out with a reeflux12k...

Again wonderful shots.... I wonder if I should just put up a flat screen and slideshow your tank shots in place of my costly setup?

Hmm...

Great colors! Love it!

Doug,

Please don't post links of my tiny frags in a thread full of Tim's monster colonies. That's really embarassing:(

Beautiful stuff, Tim Baby!!!

Now your killing me!!!!

Maybe I should post a few of mine just to make you feel a little better..........I am getting a good collection together, but a long ways off from being as photogenic as both of yours.

And you had better be kidding, and I know you are......your tank and Tim's is something I aspire to......so thank you both for the help!!!!

You guys kill me with the quality of pieces and combined knowledge you have.........both have my respect........well, most of the time that is:p

Ill put the pom-poms down now!!!!:eek2:

Now things are starting to get good around here.

OK, I agree with you Doug, Both Tim and Karl have awesome corals. I wish they would have a private tutorial and power point presentation on how to take such great photos. I know my biggest problem is that I don't have the awesome corals to take awesome photos of.

Mark

Its the lighting........I think SE lighting that is placed farther up and in deeper tanks is better balanced for the camera to pic up.

My lights (250DEs) are right off the water on a 75g and produces highs and lows that make any pics over/under exposed.
