I got a baby pair of black false percs about a year ago. They never left each others side. I introduced a Sebae anem about 3 weeks ago, and the pair ignored it until a couple of days ago. Now one of the percs has grown at least 10% (must have became the female) and won't leave the anem alone! I feel bad for the male....he comes over every now and then to hang out in the anem with the female....but most of the time he stays in his old spot in the upper right corner of the tank. Is this "normal behavior" for the percs? Was it just coincidence that they went through maturity right after I introduced the anem, or did that somehow facilitate the process? Lots of questons....any info would be greatly appreciated.
