Female Rhomboid ready for DT. What would you do?

My female Rhomboid is ready for the DT. She's only about 1.5". Currently in my DT I have a 3" male labouti, a 3" male hooded wrasse and a 3.5" leopard. I'm a little afraid that the rhomboid will get beaten up. I do plan on putting the female rhomboid in an acclimation box for a week and then catch the Labouti and Hooded and place them in an acclimation box while the Rhomboid can get acclimated to the DT without being harassed.

OR

I have a 30g nano. Should I put the Rhomboid in there until it gets a little bigger and then place in the DT?

What do you think?

I'd go the acclimation box route and see how the existing tank mates react first. Chances are you'll be okay. The sharp difference in size can actually be beneficial here.

I'd try your first option too. I think you'll be fine. Especially since you're going to take out the current wrasses.

Agreed. I bet after a week they other 2 will lose interest. Also when u release the rhomboid, feed the tank in 1 area and release her in the other and near lights out time. Therefore if any aggression you can just turn the lights out. I've found that helps too. They "sleep it off".

Have fun. I just got a 3" male and 2 1" females from Wholesale. The best part...they forgot to charge me for 1 of the females. I didn't see it on the receipt but sure enough when I got home and unpacked all the fish, they were all in there:)

Any update on how this went?

It ended badly unfortunately. I placed the female in my acclimation box at night and the next morning, she was still in there. Went to work and came home and looked in the box and she was gone. I have a 1/4" gap at the top of my acclimation box and I'm assuming she got spooked and got out that way and unfortunately, no where to be found in the tank, O/F box or sump. :( I keep hoping she'll pop out eating but it's been a couple of weeks and no sight
