I am setting up an anenome tank and have a few ?
125gal 6 foot tank

Thinking of 1 green, 1 blue, 1 purple, 1 saddle carpets on one end of the tank.
6-7 RBTA on the other. Comments?
Thinking of 20 occelaris or percs for the rbta and don't know what for the carpets yet. Any suggestions?

Barebottom??

Thanks

Think you are going to have issues having that many clowns in the tank.

As for barebottom, that won't work with Haddonis, they prefer to have their foot buried in the sandbed, right at the rock/sandbed interface. ( at least I am assuming you are referring to Haddonis when you used the common name "saddle" )

I was thinking tank raised all together. The people that raise them thought it could be done and I thought I saw a tank with 20 or so in a smaller tank here.
I like the sand anyhow. I just had someone suggest the barebottom as an option.

Defiantly have 2-3 inches of sand at the bottom of the tank so the carpets can bury themselves. I have 2 carpets in a 75 and they have been living together for quite some time now. But I wouldn’t introduce another type of anemone to the tank because I do think they will sting each other. As for a number of clowns if they are added at the same time you might have better success but I have found they tend to fight. I have been unable to introduce another pair in my tank.

Here is the tank they are going in.

I was thinking the carpets on the left and the rbta on the right.
Has anyone kept both?
