Fighting conch eating acans?

Last night i noticed one of my acans poylps was gone, ***? Today im watching this little beast munch on another one. Do i not have enough algae for him to eat, or should i banish him to the sump for half a week to chew chato? He does a bang up job on teh sand so i would hate to lose him.

Weird - never heard of that. I have two conches in small tanks and have never observed them eat anything they weren't supposed to. You sure the conch is the culprit? Anyone else want to chime in on this??

Well in the last three months no new livestock, and just added him. At first I doubted myself, but today I watched him and saw chunks of my acan disapear

I have two of those and they dig around in the sand. Never bothered any corals.
