Fiji trip - Pic Intense

We just got back from our Fiji trip and I figured I would unload some pics of our trip. They are not the greatest cause I am ripping them off some video I took underwater, but beautiful none the less.

We were very fortunate to meet up with Walt and Deb Smith and let me just say WOW! First and foremost, they were so kind in going out of their way to take us around and show us the farms and their facility. It was absolutely amazing! Second, I was very impressed to see someone in the business that actually does what they preach. Too many companies say they do a lot to help the reefs and surrounding communities and they are really stripping them bare with no respect for the locals at all. After seeing Walt's operation, I think he does more for the ocean than for himself and the hobby!

At any rate, here are a few pics of the reefs. I will post more later.

While we here at Reef Central appreciate the infomation in most of these threads along with the pictures we must assume that if you have traveled to locations that few on here can, you must provide more pictures so we can enjoy the sights as well. One of these days one of these days. I'm sure diving in the Caribbean is boring compared to the Pacific.

Not boring, different. There is no time under water that is ever boring. But Fiji does have a lot of color.

BenjieC - From other video I've seen that friends have taken, the Caribbean is actually quite beautiful. A lot of species you wont see anywhere else. The sea fans are especially beautiful.
