That clown is a bit big for that nem and can love it to death.
A strawberry basket is a good way to block the nem until it gets bigger.
The correct terminology is that the nem hosts the clown, not the other way around, not that it really matters but some will point that out to you if you mix the two.

I would think if the nem was uncomfortable it would sting the clown right ? Cause the buble tip can sting and if I was uncomfortable I would make sure someone knew

Well, it doesn't quite work that way.
Anything that blocks the clown but allows light and flow will do, preferably something food grade that lessens the chance of anything leaching into water column.
Usually those little fruit basket things are easy to come by and cheap, and this does not have to happen like tonight, but don't ignore it too long.

I did it tonight cause he was digging deep and hard at the nems mouth I guess the nem was letting out his waste am I correct? But either way your right he is way to big how long do you think before the rbta gets big enough and how can I help it grow faster

The clown is not happy it's circling back and forth around it I won't be surprised if he knocks it over when I go to bed

Usually the rule i have read is the nem should be at least three times the size of the clown to be able to adapt to the insane amount of loving a clown can dish out. Has worked for me. And no, the rbta will not defend itself. It will deflate and hide until it gets no light. Bad juju. I keep my powerheads high up on the glass far away from my nems and constantly monitor their movement day to day to try and predict where they will start until the nem settles into a favorite spot.

I would suggest a modified black Canvas wrapped around the koralia. You might lose GPH though, but its better to lose some than a beautiful rose.

Unhappy anemone tend to walk around. BTA more than most. You are not the first reefer that this happen to and will not be the last. It certainly happen to me before and will happen again. Our tank must have circulation and we cannot do without pumps. Over flow, propeller pumps or in-take of conventional pumps all can kill anemone (even with protection cover).
You should focus on keeping the anemone happy, and they will not go roaming. It is us, you and me, that kill the anemone, not the pump.

I use black pre filter sponges. They're very porous. I change them out twice a week, I'm usually shocked at how much stuff is in them.

Ok thanks every one got my new lighting for the tank looks awesome going to have to hang it though cause now I can't open lid I'm worried about the nem and the cinnamon clown beating on it I found he was able to squeeze under the container but only did it when I left room sneaky guy

I got rid of him I went back to the lfs and exchanged him for a discount on a sebae anemone he is pretty cool I'm hopping my rbta will recover he is hiding in back under a rock
