Fin Rot HElP!

My clowns fin is rotting away!!! The lfs said that it was a baterial infection because it looks like cotton or coliflour. But now the clown fin is rotting away and im giving them garlic soaked food.
They are hosting in a torch coral because the one that they had was shredded into pieces by my powerhead. Should i be doing different treatments and should i be trying to incourage them into the anemone. I was wondering if the anemone will kill off the bateria?

I should mention that they are a mated pair and will they spawn if they are not hosting an anemone

quarentine them, and treat with double the doses of maracyn 2. i dont think you can use maracyn 2 in the main tank. but im not sure.

mine had fin rot and maracyn 2 will clear it up. follow the directions it gives you, but dounble the doses

I put Maracyn in my reef once. It was a disaster. A couple of corals didn't make it and it was weeks before everything looked normal and I only used a quarter of the recommended dose. I would put them in QT to treat the clowns if you have one.
