Finally got my Potters Angel!

So, overall she is acting normal right? Swimming around, picking at rocks, etc? If so I would just keep params stable and get her eating. Good luck. :)

She's behaving very well. Very active and not timid. I really think you guys are on to something with the abraision. I will update if things change but for now I am just going to let her rest. She does watch while I feed the clown and is not at all afraid of my hand being in the tank so I am optomistic that she will eat soon. Thanks all.

FWIW, mine goes absolutely nuts for H2O life foods 50/50 blend. it wont eat anything too big though, so I chop it up a little first so that there are lots of bite size pieces for it to choose from. It goes mainly for the brine and mini mysis, and gets the occasional blood worm.

Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately no one around here sells H2O so I may have to order some. I have Hykari Mysis and Spirulina Brine that I cut into quarter cubes and then chop up the quarter a little more to make the pieces smaller. I also feed Formula 1 and 2 flake, NLS small pellets (clown loves those) and nori sheets.

What I have found with my potters and many other dwarfs is feeding small pieces floating around in the water column. They really seem to go after the Hikari mysis pieces that have been choped up after going through a power head.

Thanks so much for this! I left one powerhead on while I fed tonight and the movement seemed to have helped because she actually ate!!! She sampled all of the foods and the only thing she spit out was the NLS pellets.

She is also looking much better! The white blemish is now completely filled in with orange. Its still a little noticeable but no where near the way it was. This really makes me think it was a scratch from a rock or something. Hope this trend continues.

I saw one at a LFS for 50 bucks, I came so close to buying it. I was really suprised at the price, this place definitely overcharges for most fish and that seemd very reasonable.
The only reason I go there is the place is huge and has one of the largest selections of fish around.

Just wanted to provide an update. The "scratch" is completely gone and things are going well. She is getting more and more adjusted to the tank and is progressively eating better day by day. She ate a variety of foods really well tonight!

Awesome to read!!!

Soon it will grow fat like a football!

I sure hope so. A pigskin Potters!

Excellent read about the Potters Angel. She is a beautiful specimen. Glad to see she is doing well.

I can't tell you how happy I am that she is doing well. Beside the scratch healing and her eating well, my clown seems to be warming up to her quite a bit too. I think the clown is just glad to have some company after being alone in the tank for so long.
