Finally, Some Pics of My Shark Pond & Build

Just something for you to keep in mind (from personal experience)...during feeding time, the shark(s) may mistake the eel's tail for a tasty bit of food, and take a bite. At that time, the eel will eject himself from the pond at a great rate of speed and end up somewhere in your living room. He will be quite slippery, really ****ed and want to bite you, and can move amazingly fast out of water. It would be handy to have a towel available to cover and control him while you get him back in the water.

Great pond by the way...best of luck!

Lol in our house its the husband that won't agree to huge fish room or indoor pond or  so this thread is great!

I've also heard of stories of eels biting sharks and other fish literally in half! One of the stories had a tesselata eel involved.

The eel has gotten more aggressive in the last 6-12 months, but not like ur talking. It has taken a piece of my index finger though. I'm happy he's being aggressive- - for now?

You just need lasers on your sharks and you can begin taking over the world. This is a very unique idea.

Crazy nice build! Color me jealous.. Btw. If you are ever looking for more sharks or rays Pm me. I live right by a huge Wholesaler/retail store, and they currently breed a few different ones. I just saw there Shovelnose Sharks and they have to be the coolest little guys Ive ever seen.

Great looking setup

Awesome pond. What is the size and age of the bamboo shark? You should also get a video up.

What kind of shark is that?

For humidity, maybe maybe some very clear high quality glass covers? Or I imagine they would get completely fogged up in condensation? (Take off when viewing?)

That would be cool, and he could make them slide under the floor like a sunroof... by remote control.

Very nice set up!

How do you change the lights under the bridge?

Haven't done it yet but plan on using a mask and snorkel. I'll have to take some trim off the bridge and remove the acrylic sheet that protects the lights. Someone will have to keep the puffer preoccupied, he gets curious and bites everything.
