Speaking of the Fins Conglomo, does anyone know if AC sells Mag tests, I cant bring myself to go to fins.

Yes they do, Red Sea brand which Is a good test I have used them In the past.

IF you only knew when she used to patrol this forum..... She MIGHT be getting better after all the things have been said about them....Need Knowledge? Ask away on here. We moved our freshwater tank today, it was an all day process of moving and cleaning. Where do we go purchase new fish? Critters... I dealt with someone I never liked there, but they were all pretty busy tonight.... I really DON'T like someone do the picking and that's exactly what he did.... I did NOT get to choose two of my fish which they were $15.99/ea. He grab those and had them upfront before I knew it...I tried to tell him which one I want on the other $24.99 pair and he kinda pushed me out of the way and grab which ever one he wants.... IF it weren't for Chris and the years I've been going there. I would of told him toss them all back. We spent $70 something easily tonight and I really don't like how he treated me.... I'll go in to have a talk with Chris next time. I have NEVER complained about anyone there to Chris in the past 8 years I've been going there....:furious:

Mikey it might be the same person I NEVER ask/accept help from cause he tried to do the same thing to me and I made him put them back and get me what I wanted. He seems to always be in a hurry.
I made him put back an anemone one time cause he basically ripped the thing off and threw it in the bag, my wife and I were just looking like :eek2:....:thumbdown
Even if they are really busy I just end up waiting for someone else to free up.
I dont like being a jerk but I am not going to spend 25-40 bux per fish or anemone and not get the one I want or have it die on me because of the way it was bagged up.
If there are 75 fish in one 10 gal tank then I understand not being able to get the one you want but the critter does not keep their fish like that.

I think I know who yall are talking about. Honestly I only Deal with either of the 2 Chris's, Wes, or Ken. They have always treated me right. Every now & then Ken can be Moody but he is a pretty busy guy. Plus he is always super nice to my little 1.

It was in the bedroom, I just moved it into the dining room now. I had one casualty yesterday, one of my female bleeding heart tetra. So now I have 3 female and one male bleeding heart tetra. A pair of New Guinea Rainbow, a male Bosmani Rainbow, 4 Blood Parrots, some sort of pletco ($20 for this guy), 2 Pink Tail fish (Just got them yesterday, can't remember their names, very aggressive, looks like barracuda) It was time to give it a good cleaning yesterday, took 3 of us to clean and move. I lost most of my other fish due to old age, had them for years. All lived pass their life expectancy.

I bet we're talking about the same guy, he is ALWAYS in a hurry!!!! I think his name is Evan. Kinda heavy set guy with a pony tail....I do NOT like dealing with him at all! Never liked him all the years I've been going there, but everyone else was just soooo busy yesterday and my friends were wanting to leave so I had no choice. Chris was out today, I'll give him a call tomorrow to tell him about it cause I really do not like the way he did business with me and I had 2 witness with me to prove it.

Ken cracks me up. Sometimes he's really nice, other times he's really not. You just have to catch him at the right time. 
Last time I was in, he was very nice and helpful. But don't let any unruly kids with bad parents come in there! :lol: It was so funny watching Ken yell at someone else's kid because the kid was running rampant in the store while the dad slowly walked behind him and was like "come here, suuuuun, don't run around"... I was really glad Ken said something for sure! I think the best way to put it is that Chris has been in business for as along as I've been alive for a reason. 
I love Emerald Bay, too. I need to make it back out there sometime. Those guys are really cool, but you have to get to know them a bit, for better or worse.

Yeah mikey that is EXACTLY who I was talking about... It's crazy that I could tell it was him just by what you described that he did to you.
I think he has noticed what I do so he doesnt even ask me if I need help anymore because he knows I will just say " I'm just looking around".

Seriously, IF it weren't for the people I was with. I WOULD have told him to put them back. I moved and cleaned tank ALL day on a empty stomach, I was NOT in the mood!!! We ate before heading to critter so that calms me down a bit....I've been doing crazy tank cleaning A LOT lately, took out most of the rocks in my 55 and swooshed them good to get all the detritus out of them. Got new chloromine filters and fill your self DI, it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be.... So far tanks are full of sparkles!!! :spin2:

Yeah I recently did the fill yourself DI cartridge and it wasnt that bad..I thought it was going to be really complicated. Man it sounds like your tank is gonna look nice and clean when your done with it.
