Fire shrimp molted

So after originally being super-upset with a bright red carcass in my tank , noticed a single white antenna poking around. What a relief!!! Thing is the shell is in the very back underneath all my rockwork as he chose the most inaccessible area of the tank to molt. How big a problem is that little shell going too give me rotting away down there??

Yeah, don't worry about it. Both my Cleaner and Fire shrimp usually molt within days of each other and if I can get the molt out I do but most of the time I just leave the molt in there with no problems. My Cleaner molts near my rock nem and a couple of times the rock nem has eaten the molt.

Had that happen as well and thought for sure i had lost the shrimp. Ahh, the early years of reef tank keeping!
