I'm really impressed that you didn't have many problems with all that plumbing. Obviously you've done this before!
sorry but this is my first plumbing job, I did run into problems at the beginning where hard pvc was done and created as lot noise on the pumps so had to redo all plumbing which set me back couple days, ever since is all pretty much simple. plumbing is pretty much common sense and with spa flex make it so simple to run.

Common sense, but also a good plan..Everything you have done has been well planned out and constructed. Your occupation has done you well on your project. Looks great cant wait to see the progress.

It always feels so good to take off work and work on your own project..Ahhh the little things in life..

yeah .. big pipe is.. I remember I made a 4 inch downpipe for my supra. It didn't look pretty.hahahah it was chopped cut and welded to get he angle ..But it worked good...Excellent response from a 60-1 for back in the day. Some of this stuff you just need an extra pair of hands..

What is PSU

Niceeee tank, lots of plumbing! Can't wait to see it setup, do you have a plan for what your doing? FOWLR, Reef? Whatever goes on, it will be awesome, great job putting it in the wall, keep it up!

WOW NICE SYSTEM!!!
no wonder u hate the plumbing job, but good effort.

PSU stands for Penn State. I volunteered to clean and feed the reef tank that's set up there. If you've ever seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about. Hopefully I can have a reef tank half as good as that some day. The search is not working for me now otherwise I'd give you a link to the thread about it.

I have a 75 gallon reef tank, its not pre drilled, and all i have is to 2 hang on filters, and a rena xp3 canister filter.

Im getting a whole new 120 tank in a couple weeks.........i need information on everything there is to know about external plumbing and setup.

Pre Drilled-----where and how?
Sumps?-----DIY
Plumbing-----where to run,how to setup, and what to need?
Electric?

Its going to be a trhough the wall setup---tank on one side, sump room on other.

If anyone has PICS, LINKS, DOCUMENTS, or whatever it would much appreciated, i need to know as much as possible so i can do this right the first time..........

Thank You So Much For All Your Help..........

Josh

The penn state reef is 500 gallons. There are a bunch of volunteers that help maintain it. I don't do it anymore because I live so far off campus. Also, Sanjay and Bob Minard come in from time to time to take a look at how things are going. If you have any more questions you can look at page 116 in "Ultimate Marine Aquariums."

Sorry to derail. Back to the thread...

hinges are almost done since i only purchased 6 pc's, but found out need total 9, since the doors are extra large (25"W x 31"H) 2 on each is fine but 3 is alot better. so two outside doors are done and will work on middle doors tommorrow, HD here i come again. took me awhile but got r done:mixed:

my extra pair of slides came in today, so first thing was to support the light rack sides again and with a pair on each side (total max weight rated 1000lbs). yeah I have that much weight on my rack:eek1: then stainless steel 316 nuts and bolts were use to hold them in place, thanks Jonathan
