fish not eating

I lost power for five days after hurricane Sandy. I kept my tank alive with an invertor and powerhead. The tank dropped to 60 degrees. Almost everything survived, but when the power came back on my Majestic Anglefish developed fin rot. With massive water changes he seems to be doing much better, color back and fins healing. However he hasn't started eating, its been two weeks since he ate last. Everything else is eating and water parameters are back to normal. What is the best way to get him eating again. Someone suggested soaking food in garlic. Anything else? Live food maybe? I've had it ten years and don't want lose it.

Some suggestions: raw clam on the half shell, live blackworms, one of those frozen angelfish foods that contain sponge, cyclop-eeze.

Most large angels can't refuse those.

Also, try some nori. I had a Lemonpeel eat that after he refused everything else.

Thanks he started eating purple seaweed and mysis shrimp soaked in garlic. Unfortunately he is now being harassed by a yellow tang that he has gotten along with for years now which isn't helping.

Simple solution... get rid of the YT. Especially when we're talking about a Majestic here. IMHO, one of the most beautiful fish on the planet!

I probably haven't owned a YT for 10 years now. And that used to be one of my fav fish; the first "not a damsel" I ever bought with my father back when I was 5. I gave them up because I just got tired of the on-again, off-again aggression with other fish. It just never stopped, esp with other tangs.
