Fish Obedience Training with SPACEGHOST

Hello,
Do you suffer from tank inhabitants that are out of control. Are your fish refusing to go to sleep after lights out. Perhaps they are being rude and not sharing food with tank mates. Over the years we have dealt with many fish with many issues. We find that the source of aquatic frustrations, often has more to do with the owner than the fish that may be acting out.

In this level 1 course we will cover:
-getting to know your fish
-identifying fish body language and moods
-how to properly respond to your fishes wants, needs, and desires
-seeing fish as equals
-how to behave like a fish
-befriending your fish
-gaining initial trust
-trust building
-positive reinforcement
-dominance, who is the boss? When to back down and when to stand up
-setting goals and steps to reach them
-proper diet and it's role on fish moods and behaviors

We must cover these essential foundations before we can progress to advanced topics such as:
-hand feedings
-fish petting
-swimming trough rings
-disappearing
-spinning
-behavior modification
-playing dead
-looking mean
And many more

Using specialized techniques I have developed over many years of reef keeping, I have been able to teach many fish to preform for friends and family that come over. We have a whole show down that we preform in the in wall tanks for guests. What started out as a joke, has surprisingly blossomed into a friendship between man and sea creature. A careful dance between the species. I have found that we are not limited by my fish's ability to preform but my inability to come up with new ideas and training methods to get there. Anything is possible, but first you must gain your fish's trust, and learn listen to them.

Would anyone be interested in learning more? Let me know, if there is enough interest I would be happy to share my techniques.

not so interested in teaching tricks to my fish but teaching them to do their own water changes...yeah, i'd be all over that.

Is this a good place to admit that I'm (halfheartedly) trying to teach my male clownfish to swim in circles - "spin" - for food? He comes right to the top of the tank for food and follows the pipette around, so I've been trying to shape him to swim in little circles. I'm mildly curious about how their little fish brains operate.

They reportedly have a copper band at the London zoo who has been trained to swim into a container to allow for easy tank transfer in its role as a pest controller

Used to have a goldfish. Taught him to push a tiny soccer ball around. There's a thing called the R2 fish school kit. Comes with assorted props and a little feeder wand thing that you put food in to teach the fish to move around after it.

SIGN ME UP!!!

However... I must be above the curve. Some of my fish have already mastered the "disappearing" portion.

Bring a friend over you really want to show off your fish to and its an empty tank till 20 minutes after they leave.

+1 on this! My fish hide right away when an unfamiliar person approaches the tank, lol.

I'd love to hear more! The behavior modification is pretty easy - no more bullies in my tanks! It's the tricks portion that I would love to show off.

I had to see what a person with the username spaceghost had to say and, well, I'm hooked. I want to see the video!

One question- how do you keep the ring of fire hoop lit underwater?!

I just hope he has a black hood and white spandex outfit (with added on shorts) when he does the video. It'll remind me of adult swim.
