Hello All,

I've been lurking around this forum for awhile now. I'm learning tons from alot of you, which I thank you for. I've been breeding freshwater for a few years and have been in the sw breeding for just over a year. Anyways,( at the risk of offending people for wasting their time)I just wanted to introduce myself and am looking forward to future posts in this forum. Here's a couple pics from my fish room.

Wow, that's the most beautiful fishroom I've ever seen--incredible woodworking!
Welcome to RC and to the FBF; looking forward to seeing more of your work--post away!

Matt

Sorry Larry, you just don't belong here, that is WAYYY too neat and clean for this group

Just kidding man, you are more than welcome. Very nice set up indeed, if mine looked anything like that my wife might actually let me have some tanks in the house :D

I'm afaid I have to agree with David, far too neat and tidy. Go away you're making us look bad. :D If my wife ever sees this thread and the subsequent pics, I'm walking out there to get you.
All kidding aside, welcome and post away.

Frank can you ban this guy?

Theres no water on the floor, no salt creep on the glass and no water dripping extension cords anywhere to be seen plus he has a pen hanging from the calendar and a towel to dry his hands, this is unaceptable!

Welcome,

Ed

Very Nice set up, Welcome. Just wondering if all them tanks are accessible from the back? Cool set up, I can't even imagine how good all the plumbing looks...Can we see? See ya around...Carl

Welcome Larry !
Hope I´ll soon start mine and yours looks great !
As David and Dman said, hope my wife don´t see this thread or I´ll have far more work than expected. :)

Give more details, tank size, species and whatever you wanna say ! ;)

Anderson.

Just went to see the photo album and it´s awesome ! I´ll definetly put it in the explorer filter so my wife will never get there ! :D

Thanks everyone for the comments and welcomes. I have been told that I'm a sick individual, as I'm sure most of you have have. My wife says sometimes she thinks that I like my fish more than her. Of course this is not true, as I like them both the same.

To answer a few questions,

I do have a full time day job.
for fw, I'm currently breeding 36 different species of african cichlids
for sw, I'm working with 7 clown species, bangaii, royal gramma, and peppermint shrimp.

Heres a pic of the plumbing in the clown breeding tanks. 9- 20 gal breeding tanks and 12- 10gal larvae tanks with a 3/4 bulkhead draining into a 1 in line. 3/4 in feed line with ball valve for each tank. 15w compact florescent bulbs for lighting with 3w blue christmas light bulbs for moonlights. 50 gal sump with a euroreef 135 skimmer and mag 1800 pump.

Hi Larry, can´t see the plumbing picture !
Anderson.

Me neither and I don't wanna, he's a freak. In my best Monty Python imitation; "He's a Witch"

Judging by the front, there's probalby been a whole lot of planning involved behind. It certainly doesn't look all piecemeal and ad hoc like my basement. And there's probably none of those new fangled, space age, paper wrapped metal fastening system type thingies called twist ties. :D
