^ that's interesting. because when i stopped by the store being taken down a month and a half ago it had a picture of the new place which had a showcase store front. not what i'd expect for a place just maintaining tanks. i wish they would open back up, that place was really nice.
anyway, competed the journey today.
ocean treasures - very nice store and if you havent' been, you should. that said, it's a little off the beaten path if i were to visit my favorite bay area stores. unfortunately we got there right after they recieved a shipment of dry goods so we didn't spend much time as they were closing the doors to sort it out. owner was nice enough to let us mingle for 5 mins. wish my buddy could have seen the basement as kevin and i did a while back. incredible system/set up.
natrual life aquatics - nice clean store. limited selection. if i lived in the local area i would swing by but being from woodland i don't see the need to take the extra time if i'm on a trip to the bay area.
dolphin pet village - neat store. not just fish - actually, right now there isn't any fish - but they do have lots of dry goods. they have a very large back area they are setting up (recently moved to this new location). will definately be worth another trip once they are set up. they have lots of reptile stuff even bunnies.
reef fraz - not a store, private seller. picked up a lot of really nice zoa's. hied was very nice and if i ever am in the area i will stop buy to see what he has.
aquatic gallery - love this store. packed! but lots of nice stuff. fish carry a higher price than most stores but some of the corals are very competitive. almost every tank looks like a display tank. i cannot go to the bay area without stopping at this store.
aquarium concepts - wow! when kevin and i with a month and a half ago it was 1/2 dismantled and moving to dublin. well now their 3/4 set up and it's huge! again, this is a must go every time your heading to the bay store.
stores i didn't get to see and will be on the next trip - all about fish in concord and new alameda aquatics in alameda.
