Flame angel not eating anything but nori

I've had him about a week, FW dipped him just in case of flukes (didn't yield anything obvious), and have him in quarrantine. He won't touch anything except nori. I've tried mysis, pellets, flake, frozen angel mix, Rod's food and fresh shrimp. At what point should I be worried about his diet?

Have you tried grocery's fresh clams or mussels on the half-shell? I just freeze mine and thaw them out as needed (much easier and safer to open with butter knife then).

i have a flame angel that eats just about everything, from formula flake to mysis shrimp. i would try to slowly introduce him to other foods. he will eventually eat it.

Don't worry about what the FA eats at this point and just provide plenty of liverocks to graze on will be fine. In due time it will learn to eat prepared food.

He only has a few pieces of live rock to graze on and I can't give him more really. I guess I might have to let him into the display a little earlier than I'd like.
