Hey guys, I juat got this Picasso clownfish pair a few days ago amd just today I noticed that one of the clownfish had a swollen gill and was whitish. I was wondering what it could be. Flared gills maybe. I'll try to get some pictures today.

So I woke up today to the clownfish gone. I think it probably died and floated behind the rocks :( if I dont find the clown, would it crash my tank?

It looks like your clown had brookynella (sp?) (aka: clownfish disease).

There probably wasn't much you could have done about it even if someone had responded sooner.

If your tank is over 40 gal. and has a decent clean-up crew (crabs, hermit crabs, worms, etc.) you don't have to worry about the body crashing your tank. If you have a brand new nano tank, it will probably cause it to recycle.

Thanks for the response. My tank is 125 gallons so hopefully nothing happens to the tank.
