As long as you follow the directions IMO you'll be fine. If you have any inverts I'd be cautious to add it. Get a sixline

Siphon them out first. Have extra carbon ready to go. Siphon them out again as they die and float out of the rock and substrate. I used a hang on filter with gac(granulated activated carbon) to siphon them out as they died and to apply the gac. Follow the manufacturer's dosing recomendations and water change recomendations. A second apllication at as much as a 150% dose may be needed.

I have had good luck with it. Like someone said above, follow the directions and be ready for any ill effects it may cause. I have my carbon reactor ready to turn on and always have a water change mixed up.

I just used it this weekend for the first time on my 180g. All went well, and I have what I feel like were a lot of them crawling around... I kept the skimmer and carbon running and dosed a little over the recommended amount. I also did about a 20% water change 2 hours after dosing. There did not appear to be any added fish stress present from the toxins. It has now been 2 days and I see no ill effects. I have some additional medication onhand in case they come back, but I would not hesitate to dose the tank again.

I had tried the six-line route and the mandarin route, but they either could not keep up with them, or did not have a taste for them because in the 4 months or so he was in there, the population did not see a decline. Just my personal experience.

I did just as Boz151 had done. Worked fine and then always had a 6 line that i assume cleaned up any possible survivors.

I doubled the dose and did it twice, a week or so apart. Like others said get as many out as you can ahead of time. Do a major W/C. Didn't lose anything. Also got a melanurus wrasse and no problems since.

I did just this except I had to 2x or 3x the dose b/c a single dose strength wasnt enough. I also did a 2nd dose a week later. I did a water change 6 hours later you should start to see effects within the first 2 hours if not then add more medication. Your zoes may close up for a day after wards but my SPS and LPS didnt.

I used flatworm exit at double strenght in my tank without any loss. After reading many threads about the subject using the recommended dose must of the times didn't eradicated the worms. The other thing is that the worms create some kind of immunity after the first treatment. For that reason it is recommended to use just one doses.

I used a hot magnum with carbon after the treatment and changed 30% of the water.

Must of the cases reporting a problem was the result of waiting to much when the quantity of worms was high. The toxins from the worms where the ones causing the damage and not the FWE. Very important to siphon as many worms as possible before the treatment.
