oi have still been emailing him to day, and i asked him about all the problems that were had and what he did to fix them this is that email
Hi Brad,
Yes, this is a completely new beast that has nothing in common with the previous standard FW version.
- The seal on the FW was exposed to water (and debris), now it’s sealed and encapsulated on the FWX.
- The drum on the FW was solidary to the motor shaft, now there’s a drive/coupling mechanism that won’t lock the motor if stalled for some reason
- The former FW electronics had no feedback from the motor (this is the main big problem), power was applied to it even if stalled (motor burnt)
- We increased torque by 250% on the FWX, so flow with more than ideal pressure does not lock the drum at a given position
All issues corrected, and by a BIG margin. That’s why we’re upgrading standard FW customers to the FWX too. Even used ones.
