Flowwolf v2.0 flow diverter

Well that would of been nice to know a few months ago, I would of bought them now instead of then. Is there an upgrade fee?

There will be an option to upgrade once they release it for sale. Lucas said they want to make sure that there are zero problems with this release.

Hi.
I have ordered a Flowwolf v3.0 diverter and a media reactor.Got the FW custom-made with true unions on it too. They delivered it with 6 ports instead of 4 which was my order. But after one mail, and 5 days(had to cnc a new one) the right one came in my mail, free delivered.
As far I am concerned,I am happy with both service and product;)

Have you actually had it up and running for a time?

It does appear that Lucas is making good on his word even if sometimes it takes awhile. He has upgraded his product and is allowing exchanges to past buyer's. Hopefully the V3 and FWX do as advertised and we all have killer flow for many years:)

With all due respect then yopu cannot really comment on quality of product as you have not had it under real situation test

Well I have had my flowwolf for 3 weeks and surprise surprise it stopped working again. I took it apart creating a nice flood in the living room to check the drum. Clear and clean. The issue is as before the motor is not up to the job and the pressure of water coming from the pump jams the rotating drum in one position. All I can say is I am disappointed and fed up. After a year and 4 changes it seems that Derkroon are not listening to their customers feedback and keep repeating the same flaws and churn out an inferior product with an exorbitant price. ALL HOBBYISTS OUT THERE WHO IS CONSIFDERING BUYING THIS PRODUCT , DON'T. Save your money and buy something which has been tried and tested. As for me I am putting this down to a lesson learnt.

That sucks!!! What pump are you using with it?

Wow that's not a lot of pressure. I thought about using those pumps with mine but was nervous about running them externally. How did you have yours plumbed? What size pipe is your inlet and outlets on the fw?

I have mine set up below my tank. I have the 4 outlet one, where the outlets are 25mmDia and feed inlet is 32mmDia. The flowwolf is fitted to top of outlet of pump. The 4 outlets each have a shutoff valve. The main feed from the tank which feeds the Jeboa has another shutoff valve. All of the piping is hardpipe. dont worry about the Jebao they are just fine externally. I have 3 of them which have been running without any issues for nearly at least a year now.

Sorry you are having trouble again I know it must be frustrating:( Had hoped he had the bugs worked out with the V3 now our only hope is SPotter and the FWX model.
Have you heard when you may have the FWX model SPotter?:deadhorse1:

I was so afraid to use them in fear of the housing cracking and draining 360g of water on my new floor. So I sold them before even trying them out and went with a dolphin 4750 which moves a lot of water but also eats a lot of electricity [emoji3]

I'm supposed to have my tracking info today but with the holidays coming up and some of the retrofitting I might need to do, I don't know if I'll be able to get it hooked up soon. I will do my best to get it up and running asap.

Hi:-)
On my version 3,I use 32mm outlets and feed inlet is 40 mm.Pump is a Deltec E flow 12..And you are right that I have not tested it in my tank, but I have a 90 gallon mixing tank for saltwater where I have had it running now for a couple of days. And everything is spot on for the moment. So hopefully the Version3.0 don`t have the issues that former FW has had.

Best regards Stavanger
