Sooooo, i forgot i was flushing my membrane for like 7 hours and now when i hooked it back up my tds is like 30! can i destroy a membrane for leaving it flushing for too long?

oh man! i did this a few weeks ago and never checked my TDS. i've probably made 60 gallons of water since.

Buy a vertex Puratek RO/DI it automatically flushes and shuts off for you.

Oh i had no idea i had to post regularly to turn someone onto a product that would eliminate the problems asked about. Ive been a member since 2005 chief. Please tell me how many posts i have to make before answering someones questions.

No i can not install it for you, but i'm sure someone in your area would be happy to, check the yellowpages for LFS i'm sure one of them does installs.
P.S. sorry to answer your question no you will not ruin your membrane by flushing it no matter how long per se, it may however reduce its lifespan but not by anything significant after only 7 hrs.
