For the people that have had trouble with Foxfaces nipping

Do they usually just pick on softies, like Zoas and GSP? Do they generally leave LPS alone? Really like to pick one up, I'd be willing to gamble with my Zoas, not so much with me open brains though.

TIA!

I havnt seen mine pick on corals on purpose, usually hes trying to eat the algae that grows next to or between the corals, so it may look like hes picking on zoas etc.

A good friend of mine had a Siganus vulpinus that constantly picked at his Acans and an open brain, though I've seen others that never touched any coral.

Haven't had a foxface, but I had a scribbled rabbit decimate my zoas. 2 lined rabbitfish were OK, but would get big.

I had a foxface for about 6 years before I moved and he didn't take the transition well.. I've never once seen him nip at anything. He tore up nori like crazy though!!!! Great fish and still plan on getting another

Mine had a passionate love for my pin cushion polyps in my reef tank.
Used to mow them down like a sheep chewing down on a prize lawn.
He now lives in my 100G FOWLR system.
These guys have got serious apetites!

I've had a onespot foxface for two years in a mixed reef with every major "type" of coral. He has never picked on anything.
