Forceful Anemone Split on accident

Ok first of all this was a complete accident!!! My husband was trying to get to a pump in my little 20 gallon tank and one of the three anemones I have was attached to two rocks. Well while he went to move one, thinking that the foot was releasing, he ended up ripping it in two. Now, I'm not really sure what this means for my tank or even if my anemones will live. Since this forceful split one is coming back pretty quickly but the other is taking its time coming back out. Is this a good or a bad thing? First time doing anemones and had them for about a year. I started off with one and it has split 3 times not including this forceful split. My husband and I are both pretty nervous about this any help and advice is much appreciated!!!

BTA are hardy. the two haves likely will be OK. They are not too toxic to fish and other animals. Your tank likely will be OK also. Keep a close eye on them, and consider doing some water changes.

Twenty-odd years ago, before sumps, I managed to accidentally split a LTA. It was moving over a heater when the heat went "on"...
