Fun update! Got another bottle of tigger pods for in the sump tonight. And got our next fish! He's in QT now and it's a smaller yellow eye kole tang! =D

Sliced em up in their holes and dropped the bombs haha. Let this sit for an hour or two then clean it up and put it back in! Hopefully this gets em!

So some new FTS from a minute ago! I feel like its turning out really nice. Diatoms are finally gone. Alot of Corraline is showing up, I still want more rock though!

So some updates for those curious. The tang has surpassed two weeks in QT. killed the black ich situation and his color is coming back well and he is eating algae tabs.

Currently battling a bit of bryopsis and gha. Took some stuff out and tried the h2o2 option to see how it works. Dipped some zoas in 50/50 as well.

Did a big water change as well.

Other then that so far everything else seems to be going well!

Alright it's been a month and the tang looks really good, he's eating, he's got his color back, he's going in the DT after lights out tonight! Hope the transition is easy for him. Battling a bit of what looks like cyano, just in one spot and I'd assume due to the sun hitting it in that spot. Thankfully the tank did good over the 4 days we were gone, had my little bro watching it for me. Paid him in Palys hahahaha

Vet like soldier or vet like doctor? The answer is no to both. I'm actually currently working on becoming a California highway patrolman.

Secondly disregard the tang statement as I was a week off I'm only at the 3 week mark. Hahaha guess vacation was fogging my mind a bit. So just a water change on QT.

Ok so I was a bit worried of ammonia creeping up in the QT so went ahead and rather then risking another day with out a filter or anything I put the tang in the tank. As of thismorning he looked really great. His color looks really nice and he was hanging out by the back scraping stuff off the glass.

Gary (tangs name) is doing great! He's funny to watch for sure. And currently still the right side of my tank is still my favorite

Woooooo first new additions in a while today! I finally after waiting the right length of time, got my mandarin!!! I'm so excited to get him, skipped QT on him and put him right in. Looked to be healthy, fat and in good shape.

Also! My brother gave me his hydnophora as it was to dangerous to have in his small tank due to proximity issues. I really like it

Also got this really cool chalice, another to add to the collection!

So I've got a bit of a bryopsis issue. And it's quite frustrating actually. And as such it's time to bring out the big guns. Kent tech m. I've read a ton of stuff saying this stuff really is the best way to kill it and as such I've prepared myself.

So after a few weeks of raising my mag my bryopsis issue is gone, also my fighting conch was happily eating the dieing stuff so if you don't have one if your battling this stuff I recommend one! Seems to be pretty much gone and my tank looks much better! Side effects from the high mag, not much, but my red people eaters and hairy shrooms are like translucent looking. Not to worried as I'm sure as the mag drops they will change.
