Hey all,

A local reefer in my local reef club has a really nice SPS tank that run's leds and I love purchasing from him since all the coral will be already acclimated to LED lighting.

Basically my new frag pack just arrived and is in the tank now,
1.) ATL miyagi tort
2.) Forest fire digitata
3.) Plamers blue Millie
4.) RM blueberry dragon
5.) Joe the Acro (not ORA joe the coral)
6.) Garf bonsai
7.) Tyree pink lemonade
8.) ORA Borealis

I gotta run to class now, but I will post pics tomorrow when lights come on.

I just wanted some advice on growth formations/placement in the aquarium for when I take them off the frag rack.

Thanks guys,

Kyle S.

Just got back home, and light's are already off but I'll post some pics tomorrow AM. 2 of the frags suffered some shipping stress and lost some color but since added to tank no frag's are RTNing or STNing and all except the miyagi tort were displaying some healthy PE.

Some thoughts on placement for each of the frags would be helpful, he threw in some bonus frags such as the blueberry dragon and I'm not sure exactly what the blueberry dragon is, maybe similar to red dragon? sadly its one of the frags that browned out from shipping, but it does have bright green polyps and has an interesting skeleton shape.

Other than the two that suffered shipping stress they all look fantastic and showing PE already. Will post pics tomorrow.

I've been wanting palmers blue millie for awhile so I'm happy that I finally got my hands on one. And I took a chance on some of the frags (didn't know what colors they are or species) such as joe the acro who seem's to be a millie or prostrata that has a handful of different colors that streak throughout it, looking forward to seeing these guys encrust and grow!

I did however snap a few photos via my cell phone right before I left after acclimating them, there not very good quality but hey if it get's me advice on placement than it'll have to do. there not edited in any way just typical crappy cell pics.

A shot of the frag rack:

A pic of my SSC, it's from the same guy as the rest of the frags. It's happily encrusting away and is my favorite acro by far. Very healthy and great color, these photo's don't do it justice:

Joe the acro (not ORA joe the coral), this photo doesn't really show its true colors but it's an interesting frag thats got several colors streaking throughout it's polyps:

This is the blueberry dragon that I have no clue about, it was a bonus frag and it seem's to have lost some color in shipping, blue/purple tips and neon green polyps, body might change colors but right now it's a brownish tint:

Except for the SSC the rest were all taken about 10-15 minutes after being put in the tank so it's re assuring that there was already some decent PE on the frags, all but the miyagi tort were showing healthy PE 15 minutes after being introduced.
