Frag Placement

Just prrchased two frags. First is a purple monster and the other a bonsai.
I am running 3 400 watt de's and am curious what the recommended depth for placing these frags would be?

I have a frag tank thats about 12" deep and even less than this in most places because of rocks and eggcrate. My lights are 250W SE radium and 10000K hamilton and 2 actinic VHOs. I place my frags about 8 inches under the water and about 12-18" inches away from the lights. I have a tonga bonsai too.
