Frag Swap - Chattanooga, TN - 8-5-06

Its our own fault for coming up with the idea of rubber lined pockets and then having them manufactured in Peru... Damn cheaper labor... Don't we understand that there are illegal immigrants hard at work in the US wanting to make rubber lined pockets here in the US to help the economy???

Isn't this thread about the frag swap?

So to get back on topic...I'm going to go and I'm going to bring some zoas and sps frags.

I'll probably head down... Make a weekend out of it... Think I'm going to take Ashley to the Aquarium... :)

We went and toured the facilities today...

We have two rooms this year... the room from last year will only be used for the speaker, so it is nice and quite. The main area will be used for the fragging tables and is more than twice the size of last years area.

If you plan on selling please let me know. We need to know how many tables etc to have setup. We have plenty and will have extras, but if you know your coming please help us plan in advance and let me know.

Thanks
Brandon

I'll need one from MTRC. I'll have either a 20L or a 10 and will need electricity, but can easily share a table.

Brandon is right there is plenty of space. Power will be limited though, so if you want to bring lighting please limit it to NO fluorescent or small pc lighting. We don't want to overload the circuits in the building. Look forward to seeing some of you knoxville folks down here in chatt town!!

Hey guys, Glass cages is suppose to be setting up a display and also bringing a truck of there larger tanks to demo. And Randy from Reed Mariculture (Reef Nutrition) Is flying in to set up also. We are really expecting a great turn out this year and look forward to seing you there.
Rumor has it that RevHtree will be dressed like nemo and dancing by the street flagging people down for this event. You really dont want to miss that do you?

I'm glad the Reed Mariculture guys are coming. Now I can get some stuff and not pay shipping! Their products are great...got hooked on them at the Nashville swap.

Will I be able to buy, or does everyone mostly want to trade? I just moved tanks, and my corals are just now starting to grow at a good rate.

Ken, some people, like me...really like to mainly sell. I like trading too but I get so worried about putting pests into my tank that it just gets risky. I'm setting up a small quarentine tank before this one so I can just put them all down there and make sure everything is ok.

I was plannig a family trip to the Aquarium along with the swap but I just realized lobster season in FL opens at at same time as the swap. Plus I have 2 wks vac I need it use before Oct 1st.
