I had a great time and met some new cool people.


This was by far the best planned swap i have been too.

Yes, there was a great showing from all over! I don't think I have seen that many frags in a single location like that before - very exciting! I am glad you had a great time - it is good to see all that work pay off in a big way.

I want to express a HUGE thank you to all of you who helped out. There was so much to do, and you all came through as true reefers. We simply could not have done it without you.

As for me, I have some major making up to do with my girlfriend and her friend. They spent the entire time cooking for the lot of us and then cleaning up afterwards like troopers. Anybody know a good day spa? ;)

What frag swap? You mean there were frags there? I think I might have brought something home, but was soooo busy that I didn't get a chance to say hi to hardly anyone.

Ditto on all of that. I had such a blast and definately met some really cool people! Pbetito....thanks for talking me into joining in on the swap rather than just coming to check it out! I think I'm going to really like being involved with MARS. Great people! See ya'll at the next meeting. : )

I'd also like to thank everyone that vollunteerd their time and effort to make the swap work. I know that all of us from NVR had a great time.
 
The swap was awesome, a lot of work has gone into it and it was very well organized. Thank you MARS for hosting it and putting it all together.
 
IIRC, represented today were:

MARS, BAR, NVR, CVR, RARE, North Coast Reefers, and Chico Reef Club.

Thanks again to everyone (Especially - Paul, Pete and Mike). It was my first swap as well and I was more than impressed.

I'm EXTREMELY happy with all that I got! I want to also extend a huge THANK YOU to the people that put in such generous corals! I was amazed at some of the items that were in there that cost big $$$.

Thanks for putting the swap together for us, fellas (Paul, Mike, Pete, Brian, Steve, etc...). Thanks also to the wives/girlfriends for lunch! That was a truly awesome swap and my tank is totally overflowing with frags now. I probably only have about five gallons of actual water in my 34 gallon tank. Thanks also to Nuuze, Kevin, BDimas and Ed for the great frags. Can't wait for next year.

I am really glad that everyone had a great time. Planning something like this is stressful but when it goes well it makes the work all worth it. I would really like to thank Richard (RAYSTOCKET) for securing us a wonderful venue. I would also like to thank Pete and Mike, without all their help I would have jumped out a window!! Thanks as well to Kelly for cooking for 150 people... you really did a great job. It felt like the swap went by faster than my wedding . I am sorry to all of the great people I barely got a chance to say hi to, but I am glad you all had fun :)
 
I had a super awesome time today.....never seen so many nice frags at a swap. Many thanks to Paul, Pete, Brian and Mike for planning and running a super event. Everything went as smooth as silk! Also super to see/meet all the wonderful reefers!
 
Great swap. I got some nice stuff, had some good food, met some new people. Yourreef is a pretty cool store as well.
 
All i can say is WOW! Thanks guys this was a blast and here it is almost 10 pm and i just finished getting all these frags into my tank. Can't wait for the next one!
 
I'd like to take credit for planning the frag swap but I was only along for the ride. Paul, Mike & Pete did all the planning. I only helped at the last minute.
