Hey All, I have a number of frags in the Palatine area if anyone is interested, PM me. $5 and under based on size:

Orange, Green, and Purple Montipora Cap
Lots of Xenia
Green Trumpets
Little bits of staghorn acropora.
Pink Birdsnest

Acropora price varies based on size and quality. Generally I cut them on demand.

I apologize for the poor pictures, but these are just a few.

Sorry for the late reply everyone, it got really busy over the last week. I am in Long Grove, IL and there is a lot of montipora and Seriatopora available. They are sort of growing like weeds. Orange, green, and a lot of purple. PMs sent.

Hey Everyone.. I was able to make the pictures smaller and more manageable so I updated the thread so you can see the coral I am currently fragging. PM me if interested.

Looks like you have some healthy corals. I'd be Interested in picking up at least one of everything. Will you be around this coming Sunday?

Also, any details you can provide on tank parameters (Temp, lighting type used, photo period, par readings, nutrient levels etc). I'm always curious to hear what others setup is like so I can get an idea of how things would move from your tank to mine. If you don't know any of the PAR details and have LEDs for lights, I do have a PAR meter (Apogee SQ520) and could bring it by for you to use if you were curious and wanted to map things out. Not sure how its calibrated for use other than with LEDs but it might still work.

I will be around Sunday after 3pm. PM me to discuss. Thanks for the offer of testing with your Par meter! I used to use the Par meter from Neptune to give me general info about the intensity of the light...but I have learned from trial and error already where to keep various types of Acros so I have the lighting down at this point. In terms of parameters... The reef is 1,050 Gallons (650G and 400G tanks connected) and has been up for 5 years. I run 11 Ecotech Radions (Mix of Gen 2 & 3 ) programmed with the SPS AB+ program @ 70%. Par levels vary quite a bit across the 16 feet of aquarium..but the hot spots are about 400 par which is where I keep the staghorns. For flow I have a mix of Ecotech MP 60's and Maxspect Gyre 280's at full power fighting each other from opposite ends of the tank. Calcium reactor keeps the Calcium and Alk stable. (I test Alk daily) and I use a Neptune Apex system to monitor and control everything on the reef. A Super Reef Octopus 7000 Skimmer keeps the water clean. In terms of parameters...here is my latest Triton analysis:

Dan, incredible tanks! Thanks again for meeting up the other day and showing me everything. Everything made it home great and I was easily able to get everything mounted onto bits of rocks where they are all mostly hanging out in the sand bed until they get acclimated to the lights. The brown tang is doing well and so far playing nicely with the other tangs. Thanks again!
