Frank's little tank

Haha...sounds cool. The hole sounds cool (I'm not a fan of arches) and you could use it as an anchor for the lights.

Did you guys ever get that macro lens you were talking about? I can't find one I want for less than 900.

wow that is alot for a macro lens you must want the new canon L series 100mm , there is another canon macro lens 100mm that runs around 350-450 and is just a good also the Tamron 90 is awesome for macro shots pm me if you still want a macro i can point you in the right direction like potn and fredmiranda..

Wow gues I'm not getting my notifications, as far as camera's go I'm a novice to DSLR. I can rock an old pentax K1000 but my wife is the photographer. She found a lens she wants that doesn't have the internal stabalizer that costs under 200, don't know if it is on it's way or not. Right now the tank is running a phoenix 14k with 4 PAR fixtures, two OC reef and two Rapid I believe. It's been a long road and the move could've gone better but things are beginning to fill in and hopefully I'll be ordering a few new additions. I've had my eye on the red dragon as well as a piece of Strawberry shortcake for a while.

Thanks you, I've tried and tried to keep the sandbed empty but it never lasts. I will be removing and moving a few tonight to make way for a few new additions. Even better they are comming from a gentleman here on RC who's tank I've admired for a while. Had everything I wanted and a few extras. I'll get some pics and post them up once they get settled in.

A few new additions a few growing frags and a current FTS

I have had some flame angels in the past that didn't really pick at anything, it's really hit or miss. I missed so I just try to keep him well fed and remove LPS he picks at.

Really cool to see the progression of your tank. The tonga branch rock and arches make it an amazing scape for a 3foot tank.

Thank you, my next display will either have nothing but tonga branch or acrylic rods with little to no liverock. The old stack method was a little much, I should also have mentioned I am no longer using pappone and have started with Elos omega and pro skimmer along with running seachems phosgaurd/purigen/carbon. I also used some fluke tabs to get rid of the BCP.

Thanks, I tried it several different ways and while this stack didn't originally sit perfectly I have epoxied it so it is fairly stable, the encrusting corals should help over time.
