Free Sketchup Renderings *inquire within*

Spook-

I checked out your model. I see that your plumbing got a little twisted, lol. So, I downloaded some parts from 3dwarehouse to help you along. A tip is to make your parts into groups (select item>right mouse click>group) it helps keep your parts from intersecting eachother and combining geometry.

WZHANG started this thread to help other reefers out not to debate which program is better at rendering layouts. Give the guy some respect, and keep it open for people wanting his help. People who want to debate programs can start their own thread to help people out with the software they prefer and donate their time to that thread.

I will throw a wrench in the works and admit that I prefer Pro/Engineer.

Same here, but then I use it everyday so it's what I'm used to. We don't do much rendering though, that is something I'd like to learn to do when the time permits.

WZHANG : Nice rendering skills...

Here is a thought....

It is a public forum and conversations evolve. As conversations evolve, information is transfered and people learn. Furthermore, the fact that the conversation persists keeps the thread on the first page or so where other people can see it and become interested. Nobody has prevented anybody from requesting a rendering or asking WHZANG for help. The reality is that the conversation has kept this thread alive, not requests for renderings.

Lastly, I don't see any disrespect for WHZANG here. How about giving the rest of us some respect my friend?

No problem Beananimal, I am just tired of getting a notification on what I thought was going to be a cool tank rendering, only to find out someone wants to comment on the program WHZANG is or isn't using.
I don't know the person but he is kind enough to give up his own time to do this, and everyone is making a bigger deal about their program over his.

Wow. Very impressive work. I'm also a fan of your furniture design.

Any chance you could try taking a shot at a Bubble King Mini 160 in Sketchup?
