freebie frag... need ID

I attended a frag swap/seminar put on by a local reef club today. They had a fragging demo, and gave out the clippings afterwords. I picked it up because it was a freebie, but no clue what I got. Not much color to him but looked healthy.

This is my first sps... freebies are awesome for test runs

here's a better pic under the halides. posted it over on the local reef club forum and the consensus was either pink birdsnest or pocillopora. I guess it may just take some grow out time to see if it gets any more distinguishing characteristics

I'm thinking it might also be a Montipora digitata of some kind.

Stylophora or Seriatopora. AKA birdsnest I can't remember which one has polyps arranged like that.

Okay, well 3 months later and I've got some growth for sure. What isn't for sure is what the future holds for this guy. I just switched over to Radiums about a week ago, and all of a sudden this bugger's skeleton is showing signs of green! Even under just actinic's I'm seeing the coloration for the first time so I know it's not just how the radium's make it appear. I fixed up a RO/DI TDS issue a few weeks ago so that's probably contributing the the explosion in all of my growth I've seen lately, too.

Also I'm noticing pointy tips appearing, as you can somewhat see on the new branch extending towards the camera on the bottom left of the piece.

Kind of fun watching all of these frags take on some "personality"
