Freeloader attached to Goni

Anyone know what this thing is at the bottom of the Goni. The mouth in the center opens and closes, reacts to movement, and touching it. Obviously filter feeding. Its dark purple and has grey stripes or snow flake patterns inside it. I also just noticed there are other little mouths or holes around the center one opening and closing. The coral opens up fully does not seem to be effected and is about 3 inches in dia making this thing a little over a quarter inch. The only problem I see is a fight over real estate sooner or later in the future.

Can't really tell from that far away, but maybe tunicates.

Could possibly be. After spending some time researching them though I cannot find any this color. But could possibly be. Descriptions of ascidans with little zooids match what I have here but I cannot find pics to verify. It is very interesting though, I fed it some zooplankton and can see it sucking it up quite vigeroulsy. like i said though it reacts very quickly to touching or movement around it. Sorry bout the poor pic quality.
