Frogspawn Changing Colors

Has anyone ever heard of a frogspawn changing colors? I put a purple tipped purple frog with a green tipped green frog and they are both changing to match the other. I have now tentacles appearing on both that are the color of the other frog and some of the existing tentacles are changing colors also. Is this abnormal to have happen? Thanks for the help.

I have heard of it happening actually. Are they on different heads or one head and both colors on the same one?

We have a local person who has a colony of purple with a stripe of green down the middle.

Same colony, just part of it turned green (i think its in that order)

The green one has 4 heads and growing a new one and these are growing purple and the middle of the other 4 are turning purple. The purple one has 2 heads and growing a green one. The existing purple ones that are close to the green frog are turning green.

The purples/green ones seem to go back and forth with regaurds to color. Here is a pic of mine. Some polyps/stalks are a mix of both colors while others are either solid green or purple

this happens because one head is getting more light than another usually, but is actually pretty cool to see as long as the coral is healthy.

I have green and purple frogspawn, they both originate from the same colony, but neither seem to be changing colors.

I believe the colony was originally green and branched off purple and kept growing purple off that one branch.
