Something took a huge bite out of the mouth of my frogspawn? like right in the middle th eedges still are there, it was laive this morning and yesterday night, returned back from work and looks like osmething was having it for dinner?

i have some assorted hermit crabs, azure damsel, diamoned head goby, tomato clown, and a six line wrasse?

to my understanding they ar eall reef safe...

If the white skeleton seems to be chewed up I would look for either a mitrax crab (emerals) or a large bristtle worm. Some are known to do that.

yeah it had a little bit of brown jelly on it, i thought it was abit of cyano since i have some of that that is going away now

Brown jelly infections can be very contagious, If it is limited to only one branch cut it out. If it is the only branch or is more spread troughout the coral try an iodine dip and absolutely Q the coral, do not place it back in the tank.

Flow and water quality? IT could have came with it but with proper water conditions it may have been fine.

guess to the garbage it goes
If fairly gone that is what I would do. Sorry.

i Have had the coral for over a year now and it survived a tank crash last year when i went for a vacation. Water quality is all fine i only have been battlin a little bit of diatom due to the fact that i didnt have access to RO and been using spring water.

Other than that everything is undetectable thanks to my chaeto and phosban. PH is between 8 and 8.4 alk lats measured at 4. calsium at 420

the last thing i did to the tank was a 20 % water change
and i dosed alittle bit of dowflake, dont know if that would have stressed it out so much as i could have sworn it was doing perfectly fine all inflated and stuff before doing the changes
