well its been a year since I set up. Had a few bumps in the road. The tusk jumped out of the tank not before he ate every snail/crab! Have a very large order of a cleanup crew coming tomm. Thought it would be nice to see the before and after pics with the cyno/hair vs cleanup crew too see who wins!!!

Are those the led stunner strips? Is that all the lighting you are using on that massive tank? Just looking to upgrade so curious on lighting. Tank looks great!!

No. Those are a DIY 12 Cree led kit on c channel aluminum. It's 8 white and 4 rb and only used on my sump for macro algae. It is bright and very slim, so it was perfect to mount temporary while I was setting up. It's now back on sump.

I've changed the lighting to 3-250 radiums 4-36" t5 and 2-6' c-channel DIY strips of rb runners. Picture was taken with all lights on.

Red planet is doing awesome atm. About 20" wide and 16" front to back.

The wall paper is not very photogenic lol
I'm just glad all the cyno is all gone.
It is a lot easier than getting rid of the wallpaper

It's been flawless since installed almost 2 years ago!!!

I have given up on the main display until I can relocate some very large Roses'
But after fighting alk issues over the last several months the downstairs display is shaping up.

Update. Most of the nems are gone. They got a little out of control over the years and there was a lot of turf wars. The new lights have not killed anything. So far I am happy with the switch from MH to LED/T5.
