From cube to super shallow circle

The two yellowish green corals in the center are ORA pearlberry:love2:

FWIW,
My favorite, not in my current tank, but here is my pearlberry under 20K radium with t5 supps :) Would love to get a frag, hint, hint, lol... Hope to not derail your thread, just throwing in a bit of pearlberry love.

Wow,
What a tough choice, under 10k, looks very bright in all areas of the tank, very little shading going on under that lamp. That said, I think it looks awesome, too many out there hiding imperfections under blue, lol... Your corals only look better, if that is at all possible :) I would be afraid to see my tank around the 10k mark, I need the blue, lol... One day I suppose, ha, ha... Tank almost has that bright zeovit look under 10k, which is what is preferred based on their original guidelines, I could be mistaken though, haven't read zeovit manual in some time, lol... Based on the pics I viewed, I think the depth perception and coral distinction is heightened under the 10k lamps. I really like it, though I am prone towards zeovit looking tanks.
Best,
Perry you are very observant and no shadows anywhere this lamp lights up the whole room. The reeflux 12k has nothing on the light this lamp throws out just wish I could use a par meter.

Nice picture my mother lives in Orlando and I visit often so next time I will pm you and arrange something.

I love the reeflux 12k though, lol... It is all a matter of preference, I think the bluer a tank gets, the more muted the blues become, just my observance. Which ever way you decide, I am sure it will be stunning, wish I could see it live, the pics, although very good, I am sure do no justice to this masterpiece... :)

Your top down shot is really nice. It shows that there is still room for corals to grow and lots of hidden areas for your fish to hide. Great work!

That reflux 10k is beast! Lights your tank wonderfully. I used the 12k with leds and loved it but with so many blue corals I would think your 10k will color everything up great. I agree, to k much blue tskes away from the tank and I am happy to see you are keeping the 10k bulb!

I used the 12k reeflux for years and loved it also :thumbsup:But this 10k is like having the sun in your house and I would recommend using some blue supplement light :rolleye1:

Amazing tank! I looked over the thread and couldn't find an equipment list. I am wonder what you are running on this thing.

This thread is one to keep an eye on, employing great husbandry approach, with a bit of throwback tech, in terms of MH on the 10k benchmark. Not many can get away with this, clearly you can :) Really stoked for you, hope your reef continues to thrive, I am enjoying the progress, TOTM quality for sure!

Here are some new 10k pictures and first up is my little sc orange passion
