From Koralia to Jebao PP4

I recently posted about how disappointing the new Koralia Evo 600 was when I added it to my 24x24x12. The Jebao PP4 just arrived and I just wanted to post up that it was a significant upgrade for flow.

Any of the wave modes picked up so much detritus that was left to settle with just the returns and Koralia Evo 600. Considering the Jebao was only 10 bucks more than the Hydor, I'm satisfied. Then again, these two pumps are probably an apple to oranges comparison. Just trying to be fair.

Yes, I've heard about durability issues with Jebaos, but this is almost a disposable item considering cost. Still, I'm looking into an MP10 in case that's a better long term option.

IMHO the long term durability of the current generation of Jebao wave maker pumps is quite good. The first generation had serious issues and it seems most (not all) Jebao gen 1 product releases are not ready for prime time. This is not a manufacturer that you want to be an early adopter with. But once they get it figured out they are well worth the money.

Can the OP or anyone that has the PP4 check the energy consumption with a kill-a-watt? Haven't seen a reliable number yet and some of the other/older Jebao seem to consume a bit more than others with similar gph. Not an immense difference in consumption, but an extra 2-3 watts might be a big difference in my case in a warm weather/high humidity environment.
