Hey everyone,

With summer just around the corner I was thinking of trying to eliminate a great deal of heat by going with some T-5's to replace my MH's. Currently there are 2 400 watt Iwasaki's over my 65 gal with not much in regards to light demanding corals. a few sps, montipora etc... a LTA some xenia and a few clams.

Well, i was looking at the nova extreme, or maybe something i can build into my existing canopy. maybe i can go with hqi instead? i dont know too much about lighting as ive always used 400w Iwasaki and left it at that! Also, im looking for anyone with experience in the actual switch. Im thinking of 4 39 w t-5's. I know its hard to mimic 800 watts without keeping what i have, but something comparable?

any advice is appreciated!

Dude, that is a ton of light you currently have running over a 65! This will be an extreme change, I would expect a bloom....
