FS: 50g Barrels w/ Lids $25 - Round #2

These are 55g food grade barrels with friction fit lids. A metal strap to hold the lid on is available at no extra charge. With the strap on the lid you can and pressurize the barrel.

EDIT: the band is big. If you don't need it you probably won't want to store it.

They are ideal for mixing salt water. Just fill to the 55g line and poor in a bag.

This lid is flat which makes it easy to intall bulkhead fittings in.
For and extra $3 I'll include a 1" FPT T eliminator that will allow you to tap the side of the barrel.

I'll deliver them to the meeting or any MARS event I'm attending. Or you can pick them up at my place.

For round #2 I have...

Me - 1
Kevin Cowan - 1
Kay - 1
Doug - 2

It will probably take Jeff a week or two to get the round #2 barrels. I'll keep you posted.

Also, if anyone has a truck and wants to make the run with me you get your barrels at cost ($15) and the gas money and $5 handling fee from any extras you bring back. Its about two hours down and back. I usually go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Unless someone else goes this round is sold. Who wants to reserve round #3 barrels?

FYI - Jeff sells them for $15 each. I can hold five in my truck. Round trip gas costs around $25. That brings the cost per to $20. The extra $5 is for, well me :D. Lets call it a handling fee.

Do they look like these?

Got my 2 tanks today Thank You Brian for doing this.
Really great deal I'm going to get one more soon.
I have been pricing barrels and I will tell you they aint cheap the shipping cost is way more than this price.

Hey Dan

Jeff209 is Jeff's RC handle. He lives in Stockton where we've been picking the barrels up from him.

Hey Paul

One from truck #3 (mis-labeled 4 above) is reserved for you.

Hey All

Jeff informed me that it takes about two weeks for him to get a truck loads worth (6). Rather than asking him store them I'm going for one truck load at a time. That means load number 3 will be split back into two loads of six.

Load #2 will be here, at the soonest, around 5/1, i.e. the day of the Scrap Swap.
Kevin Cowan - 1
Kay - 1
Doug Loher - 2
Ferdie - 2

Load #3 will be here around 5/15.
Larry - 4
Eric - 2

Load #4 will be here around 5/30
Paul - 1
Doug Lee - 1

If I meet you guys there and pick them up myself does that mean I can avoid the $10 "handling / gas" fee Brian? I live in Lodi so it just seems a bit excessive.

;)

If so I'll take two from load #4. If not I'll have to think about it
