The Coralife Turbo Twist 6X UltraViolet Sterilizer, 18W, features a unique twist flow design that guides water flow more evenly through the sterilizer, increasing exposure to ultraviolet light and improving the treatment of unwanted algae and harmful micro-organisms.
Coralife Turbo Twist 6X Features:
- Requires a powerhead that will provide an approx. 200 to 400 gph flow rate.
- Can be used with 3/4" or 5/8" hose. Hose is not included. The amount of hose depends on how you set up your Turbo Twist"”about 6 feet of hose is what most people use.
- For aquariums up to 250 gallons
- Easy set up and installation
- Mounting brackets included for hang on or in-line applications
- Can be used with freshwater and saltwater aquariums

- Sterilizer can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Mounting hardware included.
The lowest I could find these retail is $143.95.
So to take the guess work out of deciding if you want to buy this particular sterilizer if you are in need of one, I will sell it for $75 shipping or local pick up.
In my opinion, this sterilizer is very effecient at only 18 watts.
In addition, water passes through the unit in a cork screw fashion to create more contact time with the water. Slower the flow, the more effective it is at killing viruses.
