FS: FHI California Tortousa Limited Edition frags

I got a tiny frag of this coral from Joe D'Allacco a year ago, and it has grown like a weed. Probably my fastest growing SPS. Good color - blue on a nice green base. I've got three frags, from 1.5" to 2+", all mounted on plugs. $25 each. Local pickup.

Here's a link to a page with pics. But that pic shows a dull green base. Mine are more like a lime green base. I'll try to get a pic of the mother colony later today.

I've got one small one, 1.25" tall, no branches. A single finger. But it's thick, healthy, and even though my frag rack is in lowish current, and lot light, it's got polyps out right now.

Westport I'm afraid. Kind of a haul from Hamden. However, on most weekends my wife's up for road trips, and we could meet somewhere mutually convenient. But then you would not see the parent colony either. Not that it's amazing or anything. Just nice. And clearly growing fast. It's right at 6" wide, and I got it a year (or less) ago as a small frag about size of the one that's left.

I've heard great things of your tank, so i'm sure its amazing. Are you planning any trips to the new stratford store at all (The Coral Reef)?

I'd say i would drag my GF with and we could hit up Bobby Q's but shes got me on this silly diet/cleanse!

LOL. It's not amazing. Trust me. But IMO it is developing into something nice. If small. In fact, that's why I fragged this coral... I keep having to hack back at the fast growing stuff to leave room for the slow growers that I still want to be visible.

IMO there's better BBQ around here than Bobby Q's - Wilson's in Fairfield, on the Post Road. Not many tables, no draft beer. But much higher quality BBQ.

Was not planning on going to any Reef shop honestly. My tank is FULL. Plus... it's pest free. There's no way - now that it's fully stocked - that I'm risking changing that. But I might take my wife to that pizza shop across the street from it. Had a fantastic grinder there a few weeks ago.

So... if you are planning on coming this way, please send me a PM, and we can work something out. I'll do the same if travelling your way. And until then, it stays on sale. Please let me know if that is not agreeable. Thanks.

Never heard of Wilson's will have to definately check it out.
