I have to relocate these two tangs I am asking $50 OBO. I do not have enough room for them. they are healthy and eating that goes in the tank (flake, brine, chado, seaweed and even chunks of white shrimp that get thrown in for the crabs and puffer) Take a look at the pic and let me know if you would like to have these guys swimming around in your tank.
(I will say this now, ridiculous offers will be ignored!)

Uhm... I hope that's a joke post, because that's offensive how poorly taken care of those two fish look..... I'm really disappointed and hope to find out that it's a joke. If it's not a joke, please someone offer to adopt them to ANY other QT tank in the meantime, as they're in TERRIBLE condition :(
 
You're going to have a hard time giving them away. They need to go to a person that has had experience with nursing fish back to health.
 
? I'm pretty sure there are a lot of other's that have poor husbandry with their tanks but they shouldn't be banned. They just need to be pointed in the right direction.
 
You people are seriously being ridiculous.

Ever hear the saying, never judge a book by it's cover?

Instead of pointing the finger and blaming (which is a natural human instinct it seems like), why don't you stop, think for a second, put yourself in another person's shoe's, and maybe try to get the bottom of the story before accusing someone of something?

It's obvious that the blue tang is in poor health, but you people are acting like he fed the fish cyanide and other poison and that is what made the fish look like that. I know the OP, and I was with him when he bought the fish, and trust me the fish look much better now then when he bought them.

All he wanted to do is put these fish in a better home because obviously they were not in good hands when he bought them. He recently moved into a smaller house; therefore, he does not have room for a large tank anymore, now all he is simply doing is trying to get his money back since he had to downsize to a smaller tank.
 
Why didn't he state that in his OP? I know I would give as much history as possible when trying to sell something. And add the disclaimer that they need to go to a good home with someone with enough knowledge to nurse them back to health.
 
Really sad how bad your fish look. I remember over a month ago a post trying to sell that same purple tang. Please give them to a good home and do not try to get market value for a healthy fish, because those are not. The only reasonable thing to do is to get them to a good home asap! It is sadistic to keep those fish one day longer in your tank Frag Collector. Do the right thing, PLEASE!!!
 
Ok first of all I would like to say "Online community my A$$" All you people want is drama on this site. There are 15 posts on this thread and until tony said anything not one reasonable question was asked about anything except to take a stab at me. I do apologize that I did not state that I have had these two fish for about 4 months and for the last month they have been in a 55 g. When I got them the purple tang was solid white and the blue was constitnly on his side but I guess that was my fult for thinking that these were smart people here. If anyone is interested let me know if not take your words somewhere else
